As a supernatural creature, she occasionally resorts to her base instincts to defend herself.✧ Background: A siren from the Ruby Sea who recently washed up on a small island in the Cieldalaes. For most of her life, Seiro resided in relative solitude with her sisters, luring sailors to their demise with her haunting melodies. Centuries later, she departed her cove by seeking passage on a foreign ship. Unfortunately for her, the sailors didn't take kindly to her eating a few of their men and cast her back into the ocean. After swimming to an island sanctuary, she lives off the hospitality of the island's owner with hopes of seeing the world far to the west. Despite her voracious appetite, she's grown amiable to strangers and seeks new companions to traverse Eorzea and beyond with her.

Saeryn was the one who happened upon Seiro washed up on her island sanctuary. The siren had been living off the land (and her animals), prompting Saeryn to teach her about cooked cuisine instead. A wandering hunter hired to protect a ship during a voyage across the Sirensong sea. A storm destroyed his ship, leaving him stranded on Seiro's island. In order to survive, he made peace with the siren and placated Seiro with tales of his adventures. When another ship arrived, Vynx departed from the island and left the siren and her sisters behind. Despite the odds, Vynx and Seiro have been reunited on new shores.
